Coach
Wayne Kendrick
Kendrick started his coaching career at Riverdale High School. He was a volunteer assistant from 2008-2011. His next stop was Coffee County High School, as an assistant coach in 2013. The next year, he was hired at Christiana Middle School as the Head Coach where he coached for 8 seasons, winning 3 county championships. In 2021, he was hired back at Riverdale High School. He has also coached travel ball for the past 7 seasons.
Kendrick played High School baseball at Riverdale from 2001-2003. He went to MTSU as a walk-on where he worked his way up to a full scholarship and started his junior year at 2nd base. He was an all-conference player his senior year where he broke the single season hits record at MTSU. Kendrick was drafted by the Cincinatti Reds and played a year with the Billings Mustangs (Rookie Ball) and Sarasota Reds (High-A)

Ryan Roets
Roets spent the last 4 years with the Golden Bears at Mt. Juliet High School as their Pitching Coach. Currently serving as a pitching coach at Riverdale High School, he is privileged to be a part of another winning culture and program.
Roets has had the pleasure of developing student athletes over the last 10 years as a Pitching Coach, Head Coach, and Assistant in Atlanta, MJ and Murfreesboro. His background in pitching, performance and management has culminated in continued success as a coach and mentor. Coach Roets is a Pitching Coordinator, Recruiting Coordinator and Assistant Coach for Dirtbags Midsouth.
Coach Roets teaches World History at RHS and operates with a lifelong student mentality himself. Roets has a Bachelors in Fine Arts and Communications from the University of North Carolina and a Masters in the Art of Teaching from Cumberland University. He leads with a passion for growth, safety, high-performance, and stamina in the connections he builds.
Coach Roets and his wife, Madeline have a beautiful 4 year old daughter, Mackenzie and live in Mt. Juliet. Roets is the Founder and CEO of Midsouth Pitch Lab in Lebanon, TN that offers athletes the space to develop as a pitcher. In an ever-evolving world of data driven baseball and analytics, he strives to offer players the opportunity to understand the metrics with a stronger focus on improving movement patterns to increase efficiency and dominate on the mound.

Michael Wheeler
Wheeler is a former 2006 JUCO World Series Champion with Walters State CC and a 26th round Draft Pick for the Kansas City Royals.
Signed with University of Kentucky. Attended Cumberland University, Walters State and Florence Freedom.
Coach Wheeler was under the instruction of Hitting Coach & friend Pete Rose, Jr.

Dusty Jones
Jones started playing baseball at 5 years old and played through high school at Lebanon. Had a scholarship to play at Cumberland University, but due to injury, was unable to attend. Jones has been coaching baseball for 25 years at the recreational, middle, travel and high school levels. As the Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Lebanon, Jones maintains the fields he grew up playing on. Sports are his passion and has been a part of his life from childhood through career.
